hi ive been at 80 for about 2 weeks and i want to start getting into some heavier raiding (icc 10/25) however both myself and my guildys have been underwhelmed on my DPS thus far im useing a AB*3, AM(with MB proc) or Abarr. and unfortunutly there arnot any career mages in my guild that i can talk to about what the problem is. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kil'jaeden&cn=SiopI can pull 5-6k on a target dumbie over a 5 min time but during actual raids i have a hard time breaking 4.9k dps. i know alot of my DPs problem is gear but i am still very far under what i should be pulling. Thanks any help is appreciated.

Without seeing your gear (armory down) I can't make any specific recommendations; however Your arane rotation should be AB024MBAM, meaning AB spam until you get an MB proc, and then cast MBAM at either 0, 2, or 4 stacks of the AB debuff. Don't use Arcane Barrage. Seriously. If you've been spamming ABx4 for a few times and your mana is having issues, use a standard AM. Once you get 4xT10 always do AB4MBAM. Other than that, be hit capped (remember your raid buffs!), use your cooldowns liberally unless you know a hero is coming, stack spell power and haste, and never, ever, ever gem crit and you'll be golden. Feel free to Armory me for optimal 10 man gear/spec in ICC. Well, my belt is from ICC25 but the ICC one is comprable.
