To show how far it's come thanks to all of your suggestions, here's an update, after several more iterations and actual, practical use in both PvP and PvE:  (click to enlarge)

Any other ideas for improvement are welcome.

Alcaras, is that your autobar on the side? I found the autobar mod to be great, but a bit tough to configure.  Awesome for food/water/mana gems/ports. Not so great for pots or anything you have to get to quickly.

Also I don't see a player unit frame apart from the grid.  Doesn't this make health/mana monitoring a bit tough?

What is your thought on position of player and target unit frames? I've done them both at top and bottom.  I think I prefer them at the bottom, but I also like buffs/debuffs diplayed below.  At the bottom this can get messy.

I also assume you have your bar hidden at the top to manage all your add-ons.

Gratz for not having to put any bars up on the screen.  I don't think I could get away with that.  I switch hot keys a lot and need a visual reminder (subbing raid specialized macro's for pvp trinket etc.).

I'm still in the process of perfecting my UI, and who knows how much of it will be broken with the patch today. I tend to have more crap onscreen than you do (though less than you did at the start of this thread), so this is good to look for what can be eliminated.

Looks like you've stripped i down pretty well, one thing I would do is move things around a bit.  Things like placing the BG timers underneath or above the BG map, or target debuffs up closer to your target unitframe.  Maybe you like them the way they are now, but I always try to stick like-with-like.

Another iteration.  Switched to Satrina's Buff Frames and CooldownButtons instead of Buffalo, ElksBuffBar and Hourglass.

oooh, what are those nameplates?  Is that aloft with a new skin, or something else entirely?
