Hey all, been a member of subcreation for a fair while now!
I've been playing a troll mage since roughly june 2005. I raided up to vaelastraz pre-bc, have killed kael'thas and vashj since the expansion as a casual "backup" raider since my schedule doesn't fit (My guild has illidan on farm). I mainly pvp, shooting for a duelist or gladiator title from 2s this season.
I also have a 70 warrior and a pretty good working knowledge of fury and prot in pve, and ms in pvp.
At one point I was maintaining a mage dps spreadsheet, I let it fall apart after I became disheartened with the class after the 2.1 coefficient nerfs despite obvious scaling issues we had. Since my schedule changed, I haven't raided much at all since then, even with the buffs we've recieved, so don't expect an update any time soon I'm afraid :\

Well here is my "hi post" socketed with a +25 thank you bonus.
This is my second mage account both named archenemis both horde and both undead. First was on magtheridon 2nd on uther. I sold my first account 70 mage for 300 dollars because i thought i was done with WOW. So I am now level 65 on Uther and have recently stumbled upon your forum. Mage is the only class for me and I have already accepted a lot of useful information from your forums. Just wanted to thank you all in advance for the useful discussion of the class.

Hello all, I have been playing my mage off and on for about two years. Believe it or not it is my main toon, and she is still only level 63. I am taking the game rather slow and enjoying all aspects it has to offer, but now I am wanting to level to 70 as quick as I can to get my glad gear.

Hi all,
Been playing since the start in 2005, stopped a year ago and now I'm back in the game. My main used to be a priest, but since I'd like to do some damage from now on, I decided to upgrade my mage to my new main. Enjoying my gnome mage very much, though as it comes to PVP play I sometimes get the feeling we're not fully up to par with other caster classes. But still, mage is just the most fun, imo.

Currently specializing in Arcane acros MH, previusly Deep fire.

Hey guys, I'm a deepfire/iv mage on stormscale. My guild, sapere aude, is finishing up T5, moving into t6 content. I love everything about bein a mage and look forward to learning more on the forums. =)

Hi everyone,
Been reading this forums for quite a while, but never registered. Since WotLK is in beta and there is a distinct lack of intelligent discussion happening on the WoW mage forums (what else is new?) I decided to register to hopefully have a chance to discuss the new changes intelligently.
Been playing my mage since '05, raided MC and BWL then got out of raiding and decided to grind out HWL. I don't regret doing it, I had a lot of fun pvping everyday and shooting the breeze in vent all night with friends.
Haven't done much in BC as far as raiding or pvp. All the guilds on my server were full on mages at the start of BC and I have no interest in doing arenas, I prefer bgs and world pvp personally. In BC I've pretty much just done Kara and bgs and it's been a lot of fun.

Hi,
I have been playing since release, unfortunatly not as a mage. around 2 months before TBC hit I returned to the game due to the large amount of new content incoming. at the time I played a lock. I always loved being a caster, but was terribly bored playing a lock in pve/pvp because it was just incredibly easy. I decided to reroll horde and try a mage, seeing they seemed to have less trouble dealing with melee classes in pvp. I also wanted to see how well of a fight I could put up against locks as a mage seeing 90% of the mages that ran into my lock got their neck stepped on.
Now I will never go back.
